The CGOA Masters Program, Basic Stitches, is a vintage program originally released in 2000 to test one's knowledge of basic crochet stitches. This course is being re-released with only minor program changes to better align with currently available yarns. The course is non-competitive and aimed to encourage a high standard of proficiency.

This is a digital download of instructions for creating your portfolio.

Once you’ve completed the required work, you will need to complete the online Masters Candidate form.

The program is divided into several parts. All parts are to be completed and submitted at one time.

A ravelry discussion group and CGOA community discussion group is monitored by the reviewers if you have questions, and you can check on notices about the program on a page at www.crochet.org.

There is no timeframe for completing your work. Your portfolio will be returned with a written review of your work, and with a certificate upon successful completion.
