Instructor - Julie Desjardins

Bio

Julie Desjardins is a French-Canadian crochet author, designer, instructor and service provider based in Montreal, Canada. 

Julie learned to crochet to keep herself busy in the evenings after her daughter was born. Very quickly, she went from experimenting to correcting patterns she came across… and then to creating her own.

Her designs have been published in a dozen magazines in Quebec, the United States, and Europe, as well as in 5 books. In 2025, she co-authored and translated a book for local yarn stores, and her first solo book was published in September 2026.

Every step of Julie's journey nourishes her practice: creating, writing, teaching, and professional coaching all complement and enrich one another.
