Description
Come learn a variety of easy-to-make textured stitches without using post stitches or complicated techniques. Stitches are great for blankets, bags, gifts and other home décor items. We’ll see how making small adjustments to each stitch or using different yarns can create interesting variations. Many finished projects will be shown for inspiration. A detailed handout and directory will be included.

Instructor - Jennifer E Ryan

Bio
- Jennifer E Ryan is an award-winning published crochet designer who has many years of teaching experience with all ages in a wide variety of art and academic settings. Her crochet designs can be seen in several crochet publications, on her blog, “Celtic Knot Crochet” and in her Etsy Shop. Jennifer's specialty is combining Celtic Knots with crochet (a technique she created) and has enjoyed teaching several crochet classes on-line and around the US for various crochet conferences and workshops. For some of these events she also organized and implemented large-scale Yarn Bombs (crochet as art on display in an urban or unexpected setting) to greet and inspire the attendees. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, rollerblading, kayaking and photographing wildlife.
