Description

This 90-minute session introduces participants to the Embodied Threads™ Somatic Crochet™ methodology, developed by Beth McKee Elliott (Betty McKnit®). This practice integrates somatic movement, mindfulness, breath awareness, and abundance-mentality to help crocheters turn their crochet hobby into a supportive and grounding practice for healing, emotional support, and wellness. 

The class is designed to help participants crochet with greater body awareness, reduce physical tension, release stress, prevent potential injury, and cultivate a sense of safety, pleasure, and abundance through crochet.

Bio

Beth McKee Elliott, also known as Betty McKnit, is a crochet designer and Master Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator. She combines her expertise in movement with crochet instruction to promote a mindful crafting experience that helps fiber artists avoid injury and enhance their well-being. As the creator of 6-Day Crochet and leader of the global Power of Positive Crochet movement, she provides comprehensive instructional tools and fosters vibrant, supportive communities for crocheters of all skill levels.
